Style Office and Style Shopfitting Ltd are delighted to have been involved with the project to transform the former All Sports premises into a superb restaurant and bar.

Style Shopfitting, the main contractor on site, were able to bring their experience of restaurant refurbishment to the fore. They advised on how to cope with various practical changes to the scheme to ensure that the restaurant would fully comply with the client’s operational requirements whilst maintaining the architects and designers superb scheme design.

Working with Style Shopfitting, Steve Besant, the man behind Wildfire, has created an informal bar and dining area on the ground floor whilst the first floor is a more formal restaurant where diners can watch food being prepared through glazed units surrounding the centrally positioned kitchen area.

Style Office, sister company of Style Shopfitting, was independently commissioned by Cathy Elliott of Elliott Design Partnership to supply furniture for the project. Using chair and table ranges from Allermuir, Andy Thornton, CS Contracts, Morgan, Protocol, Zon, HB furniture and Ultimate Classics the team helped to create a modern and distinctive look. The combination of large circular dining tables encircled with bespoke booths and a mix of smaller rectangular and square tables with a mix of dining chairs has resulted in formal areas together with more relaxed party areas adding an extra dynamic to Wildfire – party place and chic restaurant.

The tables use a combination of Wenge laminate or glass tops while the chairs are upholstered in a mix of fabrics and leathers in white, brown or black. Undoubtedly the main focal point is the use of ‘hair on hide’ used for the Allermuir Open chairs on the first floor and the Morgan Flipper chair on the ground floor to enhance the unique dining experience.

The project was a success thanks to the close working relationship of all parties involved.
